Now that you have worked through all of these questions . . . The answers will help you organize your thoughts and ensure important topics are covered in your biography essay.
Use this list as a guideline to create your KWO of facts.  Notice that some of these prompts ask the same question in a slightly different way. This is done on purpose to help you really dive into your biography AND help you think of different ways to word your sentences.

If you feel you do not have enough information for a three paragraph essay, try using these questions to help you discover more about your author: • Date and place of birth?
• Where did they grow up?  
• What was the early life of your character like? 
• Education?
• Family?
• Jobs, hobbies,talents  and/or interests?
• Describe the work your character did.  
• Why the work was important? 
•Did your character know what he or she wanted to become in the future? 
• Why his or her contribution was important? 
• Did he or she invent something or teach others? 
• How did he or she change the world? 
• What lasting effects did your character have on the lives of others?
• Tell about what kind of person he or she was. 
• What was it about your character that helped him or her to succeed? 
• How did your character prepare for his or her future?
• What should we all know about your character? 
• How do we benefit today from him or her? 
• What do you think was the most impressive thing about your character?
