Due Friday, February 28, 2014 (State Book)

We are "OUT OF THE BOX" this week . . .

I am sure that you agree . . . . our assignment is A M A Z I N G.

Create an Alphabet Book for your favorite state.

No one may choose Texas . . . but any other state is a-o-k. Check out the example pictures for inspiration!
The required dress-ups and openers are:
                                              ww
bc
ly
asia
QA
SV
2
3
5
6

You must include at least one required dress up and opener in the whole book. Your  checklist should let me know where each dress up and opener can be found (page number).

We spent quite a bit of class time reviewing DECs.  You can receive extra credit for each one used and indicated correctly.

I know this is crazy but . . . . no KWO is required for this assignment

The format of your State Alphabet Book is up to you.
• You could use a small 3-ring binder and place each of your pages in a page protector.

OR
You may hand-write your book (especially if you have wonderful handwriting or want to
practice your calligraphy).
OR
You might want to draw some beautiful illustrations or paste some great pictures into your book.

I know you will enjoy this assignment!
