Due: December 18 (essay with 25 vocab words)

Your assignment is to write an amazing essay using 25 of the 50 vocabulary words we have not been tested on. This does NOT include the words due December 18.  :-)

We WILL have a test on those on December 18

Indicate vocabulary words in your essay by highlighting.

Pretty simple and straightforward, right?

Knock it out of the park ya'll!

Just in case you encounter a bit of writer's block, I am  sharing some prompts to ignite your imagination (as promised) . . . .

TOPIC IDEAS:

During a winter that is long and extremely cold, a snowman comes to life to and helps a village survive.

Tell the story of a very shy student who is actually the most brilliant scientist of the 21st century.

A gentle but fierce looking pet crocodile must defeat a monster which lurks under the bed in order to protect his human family.

A sinister genie takes over a magical kingdom and then discovers an old friend who helps the genie give up his evil ways.

OR maybe this will help you with writing ideas . . . .

FIRST SENTENCE ESSAY PROMPTS:

She turned and nearly fell over the hood of his car, which was crawling quietly along the street.

The horse galloped back to the ranch alone.

As she searched, her movements were frantic.

Everything about her was a lie.

We are avoiding the writer's block!
